A New Semester, A New Light

Welcome New, Returning & Prospective Students!

As the Fall 2025 semester begins, I step once again into my role as an adjunct professor—grateful, humbled, and motivated. Teaching is one of the greatest privileges of my career, especially in times like these when the world often feels heavy, uncertain, and clouded by division.

This semester, my focus is not only on equipping students with knowledge and practical skills, but also on reminding them of their power to bring light into dark spaces. Academia is about more than textbooks, lectures, and assignments; it is about cultivating critical thinkers, compassionate leaders, and changemakers who are unafraid to confront the challenges of our time.

In a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming, my classroom is a space for possibility. Here, we will explore tough issues with honesty, celebrate small victories, and remind ourselves that progress—no matter how incremental—matters. I look forward to building a learning environment where positivity and resilience are as valuable as any theory or framework we cover.

As we begin this new semester, my hope is that each of us—students and faculty alike—will commit to being sources of light. Because even in the darkest times, it is our collective brightness that leads the way forward.
